Help! Can someone tell me what's a good pre and post workout supplement.. shake or pills or both.

Cellucor C4 or USPlabs Jack3d for preworkout. Not sure on a good protein for post workout but i have been using Cellucors protein powder.

pre and post workout supplements are more a matter of personal preference. i have used just about every supplement out there but i stick to the basic ones: creatine, glutamine, amino acids. i eat a meal about 2 hours before my workout then about 30 minutes prior i take my creatine (dymatize xpand). during my workout i drink size on, after my workout i use aminos and glutamine. about an hour later i eat a meal. there are a lot of products out there, so do some research on them before using them. ask for samples from the companies that sell them and try them out before purchasing them. i have never known a company not to send samples upon request. best of luck to you.

I just get a Pure protein smoothie when I leave Golds :)

As a pre-workout, a double-shot of espresso works for me.  Post-workout, a combination of simple sugars and amino acids seems to replenish my energy.  All those pre- intra- and post-workout products at supplement stores upset my stomach too much.
